Undeniably, the role of education in transforming lives is critically important. Our current literacy rate is 56 percent, meaning that half of our country remains illiterate. An estimated 22 million children, the majority of them girls, are not attending school. Aghosh Alkhidmat USA believes that every child deserves quality education, proper nourishment, and holistic development. In line with its resources, Aghosh Alkhidmat USA is contributing to the future of young students. Through our Alfalah Scholarship Program, we support talented yet underprivileged students at school, college, and university levels.
Additionally, our Child Protection Centers and Skills Development Centers, in collaboration with the Child Protection and Rehabilitation Trust (CPRT), are helping out-of-school children develop an interest in learning and reintegrate into the education system.
