Millions of people still lack access to health care here

Karachi—The Mini-Pakistan

with a population of over 30 million.

One of the major reasons for which is the inaccessibility of diagnostic facilities for diagnosis of the disease to the common man. The per capita income of the people of Karachi is just 2 USD per day.  While the fee for an MRI scan ranges from 35 USD to 200 USD.

Unfortunately, only four government hospitals, a few NGOs and around 30 private hospitals have the facility for this test in the country’s largest city. Due to overcrowding in government hospitals and exorbitant fees charged by private hospitals, access to MRI tests has become almost impossible for the common man.
In view of the seriousness of this problem, Aghosh USA has launched a grand project to provide an MRI test facility in Karachi in collaboration with Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan. The 1.6 million USD project will allow residents of not only Karachi but also interior Sindh and Balochistan to undergo a range of clinical and radiological tests, including MRI. The service will be available at a very reasonable price.

Aghosh USA needs your generous support to complete this state-ofthe-art MRI center in line with international standards. So that millions of people in the country do not have to wander here and there for diagnostic tests yet at the unaffordable prices.

Step Forward!

Extend your support for this great project of noble cause and health care for millions of patients.
